My One and Only Goddess (Male Reader x Hestia)

Making your way through the streets, you finally reach the abandoned church you and the most important person to you live together. It's not super great. There's rubble from floor tiles and dust and cobwebs everywhere, but it's home. You have an amazing amount of tolerance for such things, as you're used to such surroundings growing up. The only reason you're so eager to get home is because of that important someone.

"I'm home!" you announance as you enter the basement, where you're greeted with an affectionate huge from a petit, barefoot girl in a white mini dress. Slender arms wrap themselves around your neck as a pair ample, warm, and soft breasts press against your chest.

"Welcome home, [You]-kun!" the cheerful voice of your Goddess, Hestia is like music to your ears. Her jet-black hair, tied in long pigtails, flows like wind as she pounced on her feet like a happy puppy. Also like a happy puppy, she looks up at you with her big blue eyes. "How was your day?" Hestia asked.

"I cleared another floor in the Dungeon, but I didn't get a lot of Valis."

"Oh, really? Such a shame..." Hestia smiled sadly.

"Yeah. But..." you lean down, and kiss her on the lips, to her slight surprise. Not that she was against it. She's very welcome to it. After all, it wasn't that long ago that you confessed your romantic feelings to her and that she reciprocated, for quite some time, in fact. Now you're both officially a couple, living under the same roof. After a few moments of savoring the taste of her lips, you part. "The lovely Goddess I'm fighting for is waiting for me here everyday. That's more than reward for me."

Hestia smiles happily to this. "Hehe... you're quite the charmer."

With that out of the way, you and Hestia sit on the couch, eating some fresh fried potatoes.

"I got these from work! I did such a good job, my boss gave them to me for free as a reward." said Hestia, happily munching on a fried potato.

"At least one of us got something worthwhile." you replied, taking a bite of your own fried potato.

"The only sad thing is, I still can't find anyone who wants to join my Familia." Hestia informed, looking a bit sad. She figured it's because she's not a well known goddess in Orario, in comparison to Loki and Freya, or even Hephaestus.

You know exactly what to say about the matter, "I don't think it's so bad."

"Huh?" Hestia looks at you with confusion in her eyes.

"Because I can still have you all to myself? My One and Only Goddess."

Her face lighting up with joy, Hestia cheerful pounced on you again, hugging you tightly, forgetting her fried potato entirely. "[You]-kun, I love you!" she squealed as she does so.

"And I you, Hestia." you reply, wrapping your arms around her slender waist, bringing her closer to yourself. Since becoming a couple with Hestia, you can freely refer to her by name, rather than God.

"If you're fine with just the two of us together, than that's perfectly okay with me too." smiled Hestia, "After all, I'm you're one and only, right, [You]-kun?"

"That's right." you reply. A brief moment of silence occurs between the both you. Hestia begins to fidget with her fingers, while trying to muster the courage to say something to you

"Hey, um... [You]-kun. I'll do everything I can to help you become a great adventurer, so promise you'll stay by my side-oh?" without any warning, you cut Hestia off by kissing her on the lips again. After a few moments, you part.

You courtly smile to her, "I'm your Familia. Which means we're family. Of course, I'll be by your side."

Mesmerized by your kiss, Hestia eventually snapped by back to reality, "B-By my side how?! Define family, please!"

"Well, it is bit last minute..." you rummage through your bag and pull a small box, "I hope this should be a good enough answer for you." you open the box and reveal a webbing ring to Hestia, much to her surprise. It's not a super fancy ring, merely one you could afford with the money you get from your ventures into the Dungeon. Her eyes trace back and forth from the ring to you repeatedly. It didn't take her long to finally get the hint. Shakely, with her face turning red, Hestia points to the ring and then to herself, as if to ask you if this means that you're really proposing to her.

You happily nod to her, meaning it's for real.

"WAAAAAHHHH!" Hestia suddenly bursts into tears of joy, accepting the wedding ring. She's never been so happy before in her life.

"I still have a long way to go before I can become a top adventurer. That's only second compared to making you happy. When I earn more money, we'll get a better place. Or at the very least, fix up this church to make it more livable. What do you say?"

"I'm fine either way! As long as I can be with you, [You]-kun!" bellowed Hestia, hugging you tightly. She's already wearing the wedding ring on her ring finger.

You feel great sense of satisfaction in Hestia's joy. A lot of planning is needed for becoming a top adventurer, and for the wedding day. But, you can manage. You always do. And with Hestia happy and always cheerful, that's all that really matters. You will always protect her, not just as her Familia, but as her lover and future husband.
